Aether TST Chair Larry Peterson presented a keynote talk, “Democratizing 5G: Open Source and (Much) More,” at AraFest ’24 on August 26, 2024. Larry spoke about the challenges of democratizing 5G — lowering the barrier to innovation — at this event, which was hosted by Iowa State University and showcased ARA progress building a wireless living lab for smart and connected rural communities. AraFest’24 co-convened with the Farm Progress Show and included a demo of how Aether can be used in ag-related applications. Check out the slides from Larry’s presentation here.
