OnRamp makes it easy to assemble a customized configuration of Aether and deploy it on your own hardware. It provides an incremental path for users to learn about all the moving parts in Aether; customize Aether for different target environments; experiment with scalable edge apps; and operate Aether with live 5G traffic.
OnRamp defines a set of blueprints, starting with the QuickStart blueprint that installs SD-Core and the gNBsim workload generator in a single VM, and scaling up to a full Kubernetes cluster running SD-Core connected to a combination of emulated gBNs, physical gNBs, and SD-RAN.
